As the snow melts and the first signs of spring begin to bloom here in Muskoka, we’ve been feeling especially grateful for the incredible community that surrounds Happy Tails.
The kind words, thoughtful messages, and glowing reviews we’ve received just this past month alone have truly put a spring in our step. Whether it’s a pup wagging their tail on arrival or a parent sending a heartfelt note after pick-up, your feedback reminds us why we do what we do.

1. Abby LOVES coming to Happy Tails! She makes new friends every time she is there. She’s almost 10 but still loves to run and play.
2. As always, Abby came home “dog tired.” She is always so excited to go to Happy Tails. You and all of your team do a wonderful job of looking after our pets. Hi Lisa, Finnigan has really enjoyed the few times he's gone to Happy Tails. Finn's friend Quincy has been going for a long time, and his hu-mum talked us into letting him tag along. Finn had a great time. The more he goes, the more excited he seems about going. We love the easy day after of a tired puppy and are looking forward to more Happy Tails adventures for Finn.

I’ve had dogs all my life, Happy Tails is by far their MOST BELOVED 2ND HOME! My Frenchie, Abigail “Abby,” is thrilled to be a day camper. She enjoys her playmates, romping in nature, and overnight stays. My cat Elvis, 12 years old, is a reluctant camper, but I know he is safe and well cared for. Overall, my pets and I are delighted to be part of the Happy Tails community!

I recently came across Happy Tails Pet Resort online and, after reading the reviews, decided to send our Murphy there. He came back so tired. Lisa was quick to answer our questions, and getting pictures of Murphy while we were away made me so much more comfortable. Thank you, Lisa. We will see you soon!

We were very satisfied with Happy Tails daycare services. We appreciated how Lisa accommodated our shy dog by placing him in a small group with well-socialized dogs. Our two German Shepherds, Gandalf and Sanna, and our elder cat, Mauï, spent more than 6 nights at the Pet Resort while we went on vacation. Leaving our pets is never easy, but we knew they would be in good hands with Lisa and her team. Even though this was not our dogs' first visit to the Pet Resort, I'm always glad to see them back looking good, happy and not smelly at all (as they have done at most other sitters we've tried before...). I recommend this place to all!

First of all, many thanks to Lisa who was unfailingly hospitable and generous. From our very first day to our departure, the welcome we received at her home was memorable. We were 5 volunteers and the atmosphere was great.
Concerning the resort, during our stay we had a great time in the company of the dogs/cats who live in great indoor and outdoor spaces. Lisa knows every dog and cat she takes in and knows perfectly how to adapt to their needs. She's always full of ideas to improve the resort, is very invested, and you can feel it!

This place is doggy paradise! My fiancé and I travel from Sault Ste. Marie to board our fox hound at Happy Tails. There is nowhere else we would board him. Lisa and her team of staff are amazing and keep us up to date on our boy. Our Dylan dog has been a long-time happy customer at Happy Tails and knows when we get off the highway into Huntsville that he is going to his favorite home away from home—he’s barking and wagging his tail just waiting to pull into the facility. He always comes home happy and tired, which is exactly what we like to see. We are always so pleased with the service and love our dog receives. Thanks Lisa for creating this doggy oasis!!

My golden retriever ‘Toby’ has been coming to daycare at Happy Tails for a year now. He comes once a week and it’s the highlight of his social life. He can tell when I’m prepping to get him into the car in the morning and he is so excited he is almost jumping out of his skin! He has so many friends at Happy Tails and like all of his buddies, comes home exhausted and happy. Lisa and her team are knowledgeable and considerate and love to see the dogs have fun as much as the owners. I recommend Happy Tails wholeheartedly for dogs of all shapes and sizes!

Just left our best friend and love, our German Shepherd, Max. He has been going “to the resort” as we call it now for eight years. We know he is well cared for and he gets to run free and enjoy Lisa’s place that has so much to offer. Also a perk from Lisa is her wonderful photos of Max enjoying his time there.
